MISE 2.0.13 Japanese function update

Automatic line breaks based on Japanese phrases

We have added a function to automatically determine Japanese phrases and break lines. This makes Japanese display easier to read without having to adjust the code for each image size. It includes a machine learning model for word segmentation from Google's open source code.

Japanese fonts to choose from three major categories

In addition to the fonts managed by the Shopify server, you can now choose from system fonts that can display Japanese text quickly, as well as 39 Japanese fonts from Google Fonts. You can now easily choose the font that best suits your store from a wide range of options.

Japanese font spacing

Equipped with an automatic kerning function that is effective for Japanese OpenType fonts. There are four types of kerning, including "none." It uses a function called "proportional metrics" that controls the character spacing information of OpenType fonts.

MISE 2 Update

Customize product templates

You can now organize your product information elements into blocks in the Product Page section of the product template, making it easier to rearrange the order of elements such as product descriptions and prices.

Quick View Customization

As with the product template above, each element of product information can now be handled as a block. This makes it easy to change the order of elements such as product descriptions and prices on the quick view. It is also now possible to arrange the layout differently from the product template. Customization can be done in "Product template (qucik_view)".

Search Page Filters

The search page now works with filters as well as collection templates.
This allows you to narrow down your search results by any option.

Added new section "Text Carousel"

We've added a new section called "Text Carousel" that can be animated left and right. In addition to the announcement bar in the header, you can use it for announcements from your store.

Added a new section: "Age Verification Popup"

Added an "Age Verification Popup" that can be used as a section.
In addition to store-wide age, you can now add age challenges to any page template, allowing you to limit age challenges to specific products or page content.

Compatible with the new favorites list app "Wishlist"

Compatible with "Wishlist", an auxiliary app for favorite lists and comparison lists.
MISE users can use it easily and for free without any embedding operations.
